Back home and back to normal but everything is a little bit sweeter. Wyrd Fest was a ton a fun and it was so great to see everybody again. So many great bands and minds cultivating in Canada right now. Here is a video from Pierre Richardson of the awesome Ottawa based label Bruised Tounge of us playing our cover of Money (That’s What I Want) Really Diggin’ Emily’s head bangin!

We would love to play the south and bring our brand of blues to the place where it originated. If any of you have any leads to bookers, venues, bands or advice that you think could help us out, please send...

Weird Canada review of Lantern
Thanks for the kind words T and agreed.
New Canadiana :: Lantern – Stranger I Come. Stranger I Leave.
From the Chevy Chase face of Tobias Rochman: With this newest offering, Lantern have fully harvested their Hasil Adkins hee-haw while continuing to bury themselves alive in a blizzard of Bo’s beats. What am I talking about? A refreshing bad-breath, proto-punk, Rat Fink mud bath in which you...

Weird skonky-snotty punk from Essex. It’s making me hungry.
The Wire #328 Lantern Deliver Me From Nowhere Philadelphia trio, led by Canadian expat Zachary Fairbrother (ex-Omon Ra). It’s a totally righteous mid-air collision of Bassholes-style blues-roots disturbation, guitar overload (à la Randy Holden) and the stillness of space. Hard to describe accurately, but an amazing peace of work. - Byron Coley
